The powerfully scented rockrose is set against a backdrop of invigorating citrus top notes, warmed by bergamot, black pepper and the classic cologne touch of neroli. The heart is blended with clean lavender, violet and herbs to bring out the rich, resinous character of the rockrose. The base features a bold combination of cocoa, patchouli and an abundance of amber notes.

During the Queen Anne era, the rockrose was highly prized by the British nobility and imported to England, bringing its warm, aromatic and resinous scent from the shores of the Mediterranean directly to the most famous English gardens.
